Raised Fist

A fist raised in the air that may be used as a celebratory gesture: the fist pump. Can also be used to represent zero items, due to a lack of any fingers being held up. Notably resembles Oobi hand puppets.

Sometimes used as a symbol of resistance or defiance. As of 2020, variations with darker skin tone are commonly used to represent the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

Raised Fist was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010.
